Originating in the Jura region of France, the Grivot family settled in Vosne-Romanée right before the French Revolution. In 1919, Gaston Grivot sold his vines in less prominent areas to be able to buy a large plot in the grand cru Clos de Vougeot.
Luminous straw-yellow. Lemon, minerals, lime and pomaceous orchard fruit, and actually not much of the spice typically associated with granite soils. Long and lively in the mouth, and boasting noteworthy clarity and cut thanks to juicy acidity that channels the flavor molecules directly onto the taste buds.
With cellars located in the charming, hilltop town of Sancerre, Jean-Laurent and Jean-Dominique Vacheron have vineyards in mainly the eastern part of Sancerre on hard, flinty soils as well as smaller holding on softer limestone and clay soils.
Composed of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc coming mainly from clay soils on the plateau and aged for one year in oak, 65% new, the 2015 Clos du Clocher springs forth with profound notes of crushed blackberries, black cherries and blueberry compote plus touches of iron ore, bouquet garni, beef drippings and black soil.
100% Gamay. Grapes from most of Roilette's oldest vines go into the Cuvée Tardive" bottling, but a small portion of them dating back to 1930 are reserved for the smallest of all Roilette production, La Griffe du Marquis, the only barrique-aged wine from this cellar.
The premier cru La Fussière is located in the town of Dezize-Les-Maranges, the Pinot Noir vines are expressed on stony white soils resting on blue marls. Bruno Colin's vines were planted in 1986 and are cultivated using sustainable cultivation with soil work and plowing.
Superior French Malbec, with concentrated black and red fruit character and ripe, supple tannins. 85% Malbec, 10% Merlot, 5% Tannât. This wine showcases the richness and depth typical of the Cahors region, offering a harmonious balance of fruit and structure.
This châteauneuf du pape has a dark ruby red color and aromas of black fruits, oviles and spice. The palate is rich and full-bodied with flavors of blackberries, liquorice and cinnamon. A perfect accompaniment to red meat, roast turkey and cheese.

The 5.6-acre Domaine Jacques Prieur parcel of 1er Cru Champ-Pimont sits on the slope overlooking the town of Beaune just west of the village. The vineyard faces due east and produces both red and white wines of superior quality.
