The deep purple color of the 2021 Columbia Merlot alludes to enticing aromas of rich, dark fruits and a subtle hint of Mocha. The majority of the grapes in this Merlot were sourced from the renowned Horse Heaven Hills AVA within the Columbia Valley.

The three varieties of Rhone are grown in our Backyard estate's vineyard and offer a sense of place and passion. We are working with McGah Vineyard Grenache in Rutherford to offer raise and concentrate along with great texture in order to complement our estate-grown field mix. The Legan vineyard is a rugged own-rooted planting of Pinot Noir situated at 1,600’ above the tiny community of Coralitos. The hearty vines at Legan are surrounded by the dense Redwood forest of the Southern Santa Cruz Mountains and have been dry farmed since 1980 in deep sandy loam soil.

The grapes for the Herzog Late Harvest Chenin Blanc were harvested from the Ehrhardt block of the Herzog Vineyard in California. These grapes were harvested very late in the season to provide a uniquely luscious Late Harvest wine characteristic.
Crisp, bright, and vivacious! The Chenin aromatics bring citrus characters of tangerine, yuzu, pear, orange blossom, and honeydew melon. The Viognier aromatics tend to be a little heavier on stone fruit of peach and mango with hints of honeysuckle.
