Alazani Valley Red is a medium-sweet wine. This dark-pomegranate-colored wine with a violet hue is produced from saperavi grapes. The nose reveals fresh black fruit and prune notes. The taste is full, soft, and spicy with a remarkably long and well-balanced finish.
The vineyards where the grapes for Camartina are grown have been cultivated organically since 1988 and have been converted to a strict biodynamic standard in 2000. The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyards and harvested in 8-kilo crates.

Hand-harvested and sorted at the winery after harvest. Fermentation with native yeasts, Fermentation lasts 18 - 25 days for all wines. Aged in stainless steel tank for 18 months. Aged in bottle for 3 months before release. Age of vines: 60 years.
The wine appeared in 1981 and is named after the artist Nikolai (Niko) Pirosmanashvili. The wine is made from Saperavi grapes. After 5-7 days of maceration, when the desired level of residual sugar is reached, the fermentation process is stopped by cooling and filtering the wine, thereby preserving its natural sweetness and freshness.
The deep, ruby red color of this wine, hinting at black, is the first clue to its intensity. Vibrant aromas of ripe blackberry, spice and cassis mingle with notes of vanilla and toasted oak on the nose. Full-bodied and velvety on the palate.
