The frozen Gewurztraminer grapes were harvested in late December when temperatures fell between -10ºC and -13ºC. After setting the juice in stainless steel tanks, cool fermentation was completed. The wine was then placed outside to complete a natural cold stabilization.

It is the purest expression of the Val di Cornia terroir and its specific agronomic identity, which brings two different micro-terroirs into the glass: calcareous soils, rich in iron, sodium and magnesium on the one hand, and micro-elements, combined with the deep clay layer, on the other.
Château ARBO 2019, is a dense purple colour. On the nose, a fine and subtle bouquet revealing notes of blackberries, cherries and peppermint. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well supported by the freshness of its structure. The tannins are fine and well-integrated, with a juicy and fruity finish.

A new project being inaugurated with this vintage, the Fratelli Alessandria 2019 Barolo del Comune di Verduno shows a fine, streamlined mouthfeel with polished tones of river stone, crushed rose and licorice root. The aromas are refined and fragile. This is a 20,000-bottle release.
