The White Scandal is born from a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pecorino grapes. The decision to combine two internationally renowned grape varieties with an indigenous Abruzzo grape caused a scandal within the local winemaking community. That scandal for Dominio Imperfetto is a source of pride.
The first wine made by Esporão in 1985. Obtained from grapes grown at Herdade do Esporão, it shows the consistency and rich character typical of the best Alentejo wines.
Even at this early stage, this wine is long on flavor and texture, showing all the red raspberry and blackberry fruit that were apparent at harvest. Also coming forward are layers of dark chocolate, graphite, incense, and a wide array of baking spices.
This wine is phenomenally dark in color, and while it is rich in tannin and extract, the texture is silky, polished and long. In its youth, the wine is showing notes of mocha, cassis, black cherry, clay, and smoke.

White sweet liqueur wine with a deep yellow color, made from perfectly ripe, carefully selected grapes. In the nose has aromas of Peaches jam, Apricots and apple notes. Intense, fruity, well-balanced and long-lasting taste.
Made from late harvested grapes, this Spatlese has strong aromas and is sweeter then Kabinett, however not as sweet as desert wines. Smooth and flavors of plum and pear. Well balanced.
