Weingut Knoll dates from the 1950’s based in Unter-Loeben on the banks of the Danube in the heart of the Wachau. The famous baroque image of Saint Urban has graced its labels from 1962. Emmerich Knoll farms 16 hectares of vines in some of the best sites, the Loibner Gruner Veltliner comes from two vineyards on the lower flatter slopes of the steeply terraced Loibenberg hillside close to the Danube.
Red dry wine produced from Saperavi grapes hand-picked in their estate owned vineyards in Kakheti region, and fermented in Qvevtries according to the ancient Georgian methodology.
The wine appeared in 1981 and is named after the artist Nikolai (Niko) Pirosmanashvili. The wine is made from Saperavi grapes. After 5-7 days of maceration, when the desired level of residual sugar is reached, the fermentation process is stopped by cooling and filtering the wine, thereby preserving its natural sweetness and freshness.
The wine is rich ruby color. Notes of oak in the aroma of the wine is harmoniously intertwined with expressive tones of prunes and cherries and lavishly decorated with nuances of spice.
White semi-dry wine Kisi-Mtsvane is made from Kisi and Kakhuri Mtsvane grape varieties harvested in Kakheti region. An interesting aroma of pear, melon, citrus and tropical white fruits can be felt in the wine.

Rkatsiteli is a Dry white wine, made from Rkatsiteli grape variety which are cultivated in Kakheti region. Amber wine is made by Georgian traditional method of skin contact fermentation in Qvevri vessels, followed with six-month aging in oak barrels.
The wine is made from specially selected Saperavi grape variety, harvested in the Kakheti region. After the fermentation process in stainless steel, the wine was aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
