Perfect pair to grilled beef, game and old cheese. Recommended serving temperature 66-68 degrees F.
Marnaveli is a young company in Georgia, which is believed to be the birthplace of wine, in the famed Kakheti appellate region. Like many Georgian producers, they are making wine traditionally in qvevri clay amphora and working with native varietals.
The wine is made from Saperavi grapes which were grown and harvested in an old vineyard of Mukuzani microzone. The wine is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. Bottled in limited quantities. Serve with spicy meat dishes, beef steak or pork barbecue.

The wine appeared in 1981 and is named after the artist Nikolai (Niko) Pirosmanashvili. The wine is made from Saperavi grapes. After 5-7 days of maceration, when the desired level of residual sugar is reached, the fermentation process is stopped by cooling and filtering the wine, thereby preserving its natural sweetness and freshness.
