This special reserve red dessert wine is produced from high-quality Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlo, grapes. Aged in oak barrels, this fine wine brings the aromas of prunes and chocolate, with a smooth, full harmonious palette and a rich, lingering aftertaste, and can be served with delicious foods and desserts.
Alazani Valley is an excellent wine cultivated at Eastern Georgia. This wine is produced using selected Saperavi grapes grown in winery's own vineyards. This wine has a rich fruit tones and balanced unique flavor, recommended to be served together with fruits and cheese under the temperature of 60 °F - 65 °F.
The frozen Vidal grapes were harvested in late December 2019 when temperatures fell between -10ºC and -13ºC. After settling the juice in stainless steel tanks, cool fermentation was completed in late-February when the wine was placed outdoors to stop fermentation and to complete natural cold stabilization.
It is made from grapes of the varieties of Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane, grown in the micro-zone of Tsinandali in Kakheti. Classic technology is used to make wine. In order to be a representative of the whole Danube appellation KAMPTAL, vineyards and grapes from the lower part of the valley, as well as grapes from the upper and higher altitude part of valley are used.
