Pedrabona from the Josep Grau winery is a project located in the Priorat, most of the vineyards are near Gratallops, some small ones can also be found in Pla de Falset. The old vines of Garnacha Tinta and Cariñena grow on the typical Llicorella slate soils.
“Viña Ijalba”
Those words had been following us around Rioja like a strange echo. Their name surfaced in nearly every cellar we went to—yet the estate remained mysterious. It didn’t take long before we gave in to temptation and scheduled a visit.
Deep garnet color. Dense aromas of dried blueberries and cherries with a supple, dry yet fruity medium body and a tangy, blackberry cider and spiced nut accented finish. Lightly oxidized character will work well at the table.
Deep purple/black color. Explosive aromas of ripe currant, red berries, and smoked notes. Rich, powerful, and voluminous on the attack. A huge mouthful of creme-de-cassis concentration.
Full bodied and velvety on the palate bursting with delectable jammy cherry and berry flavors. Smooth,juicy and ripe. Of a nice deep cherry red it show an appealing rich nose of ripe red fruit & spices.
Monte Real Crianza Rioja is a classic Spanish red wine from Bodegas Riojanas, crafted in the Rioja region. Made primarily from Tempranillo grapes, this wine offers a balanced profile with notes of ripe red fruit, subtle spices, and a hint of oak.
Finca Villacreces Specimen No. 2 is an exceptional wine from Ribera del Duero, showcasing the region's rich winemaking tradition. Crafted from select grapes, it boasts a complex profile with notes of ripe dark fruits, spices, and a hint of oak.
The creamy 2020 Crianza was fermented with yeasts selected from their vineyards and matured in French and American oak barrels for 14 months. It's ripe and spicy, with abundant, fine-grained tannins.
The wine is medium intensity cherry colored with violet hints. It has intense fruit aromas combined with balsamic and spicy nuances. A full-bodied and structured wine, meaty but well balanced and easy to drink.
Grapes from Finca El Monte old vines on hillside terrain. Ripe black fruit, blackberries and plums with spicy notes of premium oak on the nose. Full-bodied, warm and silky wine with great structure. Long and persistent aftertaste.
