Light orange color wine with golden highlights, made in Qvevri, traditional ancient technology. Intense aromas of dried apricot, yellow peach and melon. The palate is soft and rich, with elegant citrus custard notes. Long finish with silky tannins.
Makashvili Wine Cellar is one of the oldest and most well respected estates in Georgia. The 2018 Khikhvi is produced from estate grown hand harvested grapes from the village of Kardenakhit. It is aged in Qvevri for 6 months with skins and stems.
The blend of three grapes, all grown in Marani's Kondoli Vineyards: Saperavi, (with its deep red color, intense black-fruit-juice aromas, and big body), alexandreuli (lighter color and texture full of strawberry and sweet vanilla notes), merlot (with its concentrated ripe-fruit aromas at mid palate and touch of green grass at the end), compose a perfectly balanced wine with a bright crimson and brick rim at the edge.
Red dry wine, made from the Ojaleshi grape variety, harvested in the Samegrelo region. Fermented using the traditional Qvevri method and aged in a special oak vat. Purple in color, the wine is dominated by piercing aromas of forest berries. The wine is full-bodied, with medium tannins and pleasant acidity.
The ancient Georgian word "Gemieri" is translated as tasty and mainly referred to the definition of sweetness. The blend of tree red varietals Aleksandrouli, Saperavi and Malbec shows prominent red and black fruit mix, with light sweetness and balanced astringency. Food matching: ideal for drinking with baked ham and sausages. Serve at +14-16°C.
Saperavo Qvevri is a red wine made from Saperavi grapes, grown in the Kakheti region. The grapes are crushed, macerated and fermented on the skins and seeds of qvevri for few months according to Kakhetian method of winemaking. This wine is of intense dark garnet-color with balanced and harmonious bouquet of ripe cherries, plums with long aftertaste.
Saperavi is a dry red wine, made from Saperavi grapes, is a rich purple red and youthful, with plenty of woodland berry fruit and cherries on the nose. The taste is well balanced with spicy notes. Food matching: roast beef or lamb and grilled steak. Serve at +16C .. 18C

Appellation controlled white dry wine produced from specially selected Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane grapes grown in Tsinandali appellation of Kakheti region. This wine perfecty preserves aroma typical to these varieties displayed with fresh grapes, quince and wild flowers flavor deliciously combined with oak and vanilla notes remaining with long finish. Recommended serving temperature 52-54°F.
