Japan- Nikka From the Barrel is a blend of mulitple types of malt and grain that Nikka reserves. Created to deliver full flavors and richness of whisky "from barrels" which only blenders can sniff and taste. The liquid marriage is rested in used casks for 3-6 months.
Distilled from 100% malted barley through a Coffey still, which is rarely done given the complexity and skill required, Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky boasts notes of cinnamon, clove, lemon and rich oak, making it ideal for sipping neat or as the base spirit in a cocktail.
Etsu Orange Aroma Gin is distilled at the Akita distillery, in the Akita prefecture of Japan in the Honshu island.
Akita prefecture is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan and extends east to the Ōu mountains, the longest mountain range in Japan. It is these mountains that Etsu Orange Aroma takes its fresh and gentle taste from.
Clear silvery straw color. Muted, spicy aromas of banana spice cookie, coconut custard, and green pineapple husk with a velvety, crisp, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a warming, subtle, medium-long salted apple, coconut water, and umami finish. A lively and attractive sake that will cover a lot of bases.
Using selected Japanese Plum, "Ume", Hakutsuru Plum Wine has been brewed with highly developed fermentation skills and technique. It is characterized by its refreshing semi-sweet, sour taste and well-matured aroma from plum fruit.
This special edition cask strength release is solid. Has hints of youthfulness, while showing some aged quality as well. Some vanilla, little herbaceous quality.
