The 2016 vintage wine is made of 100% Shiraz grapes. On the palate of the wine, there are complex fruit flavors of blackberries, cassis, and blueberries that display gracefully on this medium bodied Shiraz wine. This red wine has a soft tannin with radiant acidity make this wine an affordable go to for daily wine drinkers.
Vineyard; Deliberately chosen bundles of grapes were sourced from a choice of acclaimed Shiraz vineyards in premium Australian wine areas, including Wrattonbully on the Limestone Coast and Langhorne Creek in South Australia, and Swan Reach in New South Wales, where splendid sun and old soils give a valiant effort.
Shaped about 750,000 years back, the Limestone Coast region in the south-east of South Australia comprises of a basic limestone base which, when combined with the moderately cool atmosphere, adds to interesting grape developing conditions. On fine, deep-seated and fertile soils, Langhorne Creek is one of Australia's most established and most huge wine areas.
Adjoining Lake Alexandrina, Australia's biggest perpetual freshwater lake, the district's atmosphere is described by low winter prevailing precipitation, and because of cooling breezes from the lake, appreciates moderate daytime temperatures amid the developing season.
Winemaking; Selected Shiraz grapes are destemmed then crushed before primary fermentation. A small percent of the is then aged for nine months to a year in a combination of French and American Oak Barrels. Can be drunk year-round, chill slightly during the summer to satisfy your wine cravings.
