Michel Rolland is a wine world superstar who has been working with our winemaker Jean Hoefliger since the 2006 vintage to create world class wines. With one of the world’s most famous palates, Rolland brings his extraordinary expertise to both the vineyard and the cellar.

The unrushed extravagance of the 2016 growing season finds full expression in this Hexameter. Opulent notes of Rainier cherry, violets, fresh blackberry, and plum mingle serenely with aromas of dark chocolate, molasses and pencil shavings.

Aromas of fresh violets and roses, ripe cherries, plums, clove, and a touch of bacon fat leap out of the glass and definitely raise eyebrows. On the palate, it’s sleek, silky, and complete.

Aromas of fresh, French plum with notes of roasted hazelnut are at the core of the bouquet. On the palate, the medium body and soft textures mingle with delicate and refined flavors of dark red fruits and orchard blossoms to offer a seamless finish to this elegant and opulent wine.

The base Cabernet from this terrific estate is the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, which checks in as 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, and the balance Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
