Pian dell’Orino’s six hectares of vines sit next to Biondi Santi, the most iconic and influential name in all of Montalcino. Vines are farmed organically and biodynamically, producing pure, high-quality wines, from low-yielding plants.
The 2016 Rosso is lively and fruit-forward, with notes of wild forest berries, crushed rocks, and wet soil. Tight acidity and firm structure give way to a lengthy finish. A knockout!
