Velvety tannic structure and rich aromas of cassis, cedar and vanilla bean. On the palate, you get ripe blackberry with hints of tobacco leaf and leather. Good acid balance makes this a versatile wine to pair with your red meat dishes and pastas.

In 1998 Ella Valley Wineries was established to return the wine culture back to Israel with the tools, knowledge and technical advances to go forward into the 21st century.

Dry red wine. The grapes were harvested from the oldest of the winery's plots. Aged for about 22 months in French oak barrels, most of them new. Characterized by an extremely high acidity level, allowing the wine to continue to age for years. The wine has an 'old world' substance, and is suitable for heavy meat meals.

This Merlot featuring ripe and concentrated flavors of plum, blueberry and dark cherry which are accentuated by a touch of fresh herbs, light cedar and a fine spiciness.

Oak aging has enhanced the primary fruit profile with engaging aromas reminiscent of cloves, toast, and dark-roast coffee. This wine is designed with a sense of depth, framed by soft, silky tannins and balanced acidity for which Souverain has long been known.

Pair this wine with roasts, chicken, lamb and grilled vegetables. On the nose, this very floral Merlot presents immediate aromas of anise, mint and fresh red berries.

Bright ruby red in color, on the nose this wine exhibits lifted notes of plum and black cherries, with slighter cocoa, pepper, coffee and toasted sweet oak hints. In the mouth, this wine presents an excellent structure, with plenty of fruit and tannins.

80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Alc. 14% by Vol.

Binyamina Reserve Merlot is made from grapes of the blue-blooded Merlot variety with origins in Bordeaux. The grapes were harvested from our vineyards in two adjacent regions: the Upper Galilee, primarily from Kerem Ben Zimra, on a combination of basaltic and terra rossa soil over hard limestone bedrock with efficient aeration of the roots; and the center of the Golan Heights, with its deep, basaltic soil and good drainage.

This wine possesses intensive ruby color. The aroma is dominated by blackberry, supported by raspberry and mint, based on soft fruit structure of the taste.

Dusty garnet color. Aromas and flavors of stewed prune, ripe strawberry, and fennel seed with a velvety, lively, dry medium-to-full body and a warming, medium-length finish with notes of cherry compote and fresh blackberries with well-integrated tannins and a suggestion of oak flavor. A simple choice for a casual weeknight dinner.

Ruby red with violet highlights. Hints of delicate red fruits and cherries. The taste is smooth, soft, and harmonious with soft tannins.
