Tenuta San Guido Bolgheri Sassicaia is an absolute excellence, the only wine in Italy to have earned a specific DOC designation: Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC.

Matured in concrete vats, this wine exhibits a brilliant red color with violet glints. An aroma of blackcurrant and raspberries, the mouth is rounded with a soft fruity finish without excess tannins.

Thanks to night harvesting, the cuvee benefits from several hours of low temperature skin-contact maceration. The different grape varietals are vinified separately with temperature controlled at 60 degrees F following cold settling.

The 2020 Tignanello is an intense ruby red in color. Complex notes of ripe red fruits, especially cherries, are highlighted along with berries and floral notes. Its bouquet is complemented by notes of roasted coffee and cocoa powder. On the palate, the wine is vibrant with a layered mouthfeel and silky tannins.

A series of light, accessible, especially aromatic, happy and enjoyable wines, with a naturally low alcohol percentage, with a slight bubble and a gentle sweetness. The wine has a beautiful ruby red color, with aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, sweet spices, and earth. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with a smooth, fruity taste that is balanced by a long, dry finish.

The 2016 Viña Cubillo Tinto Crianza was surprising, spectacular, elegant, clean and fresh like few vintages before. It was a superb year, with quality, quantity and freshness. The 2016s have moderate alcohol and especially the perception of less ripeness (even though the alcohol is very similar). It feels very young, still quite primary.

Nose: powerful and complex nuttiness aromas in harmony with spicy notes, warm roasted coffee and cinnamon hints from the long contact with oak wood during the aging process.
