Two brothers, Alessandro and Gian Natale Fantino, run this family estate in Monforte d’Alba. Alessandro managed the vineyards and served as the enologist at Cantina Bartolo Mascarello for 20 years, from 1978 to 1997.
The color is dark ruby-red with purple highlights; nose brimming over with leather, black licorice, coffee and blackberry. This Barbera d’Alba starts out on the palate providing a warm feeling of volume and body, with the fruit blending marvelously with the soft tannins and the acidity, while its finish is long and savory.

Schiavenza Dolcetto d'Alba 2022 is a ruby-purple wine that reveals medium intensity with developing aromas of black fruits, earthy notes, and delicate floral hints. On the palate, it is strong and austere, finishing with a touch of almond.
