This Finca Wolffer Rose from Mendoza is a light and refreshing wine with aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and citrus. On the palate, it has a crisp acidity and a light body, with flavors of red berries and a hint of minerality.

The Matton-Farnets have been in the wine industry for almost three centuries, beginning at the Domaine de Chateauneuf in Vidauban, and continuing at Château Minuty from 1936 where Gabriel Farnet, the grandfather of François and Jean-Etienne, the current owners, set up.

Shiny garnet color. Complex nose with notes of spices, mix of black and red fruits and hints of mocha and chocolate. Elegant and remarkably fresh, fine finish, harmonious and complex.

The wine has a beautiful ruby red color, with aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, sweet spices, and earth. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with a smooth, fruity taste that is balanced by a long, dry finish.

The 2016 Viña Cubillo Tinto Crianza was surprising, spectacular, elegant, clean and fresh like few vintages before. It was a superb year, with quality, quantity and freshness. The 2016s have moderate alcohol and especially the perception of less ripeness (even though the alcohol is very similar). It feels very young, still quite primary.

Nose: powerful and complex nuttiness aromas in harmony with spicy notes, warm roasted coffee and cinnamon hints from the long contact with oak wood during the aging process.

Winemaker, Eli Ben-Zaken, crafts this wine by allocating a portion of premium grape varietals - Merlot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc - destined for the winery's flagship wine, Domaine du Castel Grand Vin. With a floral aroma of citrus, lemon and lime, it reveals a pleasant aromatic freshness with slight nuances of wood. On the palate it is velvety, fresh and balanced with notes of fruit, citrus, dry apricot and slight woody nuances.

Javier Revert has created a beautifully focussed expression of Bobal in this field blend which includes 30% white grapes. Smokey yet fresh with black cherry, Mediterranean herbs, and a hint of black olive.

The nose is fruity and spicy, the mouth is fresh with cherry, raspberry and toasty aromas. Silky and delicat tannins, long on the palate.
