Matured in concrete vats, this wine exhibits a brilliant red color with violet glints. An aroma of blackcurrant and raspberries, the mouth is rounded with a soft fruity finish without excess tannins.

Alluring, with dark cherry, raspberry and blackberry puree flavors that are streamlined in feel, flecked with anise, mesquite and fruitcake hints as they drive through the focused finish.

Red Sancerre perfectly illustrate the virtues of the Pinot Noir grape variety. They are fragrant, elegant, fine and they have delicate aromas of red berries, ranging from cherries to blackcurrants.

This cuvée «Grande Sélection» is a tribute to the talent of Antonin Rodet who gave its fame and credentials to the Maison Rodet in the early 20th century. The success of the Maison Rodet wines carefully selected among the best terroirs in France contributed to the international renown of this Mercurey based winery.
