This wine is made from 37% Vermentinu, 20% Rossala Bianca, 19% Biancu Gentile, 14% Genovese, and 10% Brustiano. We've had Vermentinu, or at least Vermentino, but not any of the other grapes. This is a dense and rich white. Floral and fleshy with a mineral-driven acidity and a viscous, oily texture. A heavy-weight that's perfect for winter and a finish that might last until spring. The cellar in which Eric Jeanneteau raises his single wine, a beautiful red Saint-Émilion grand cru, is an unadorned building on the family estate in Saint-Étienne de Lisse.
