Produced in French oak barrels for 12 months. 35% new wood for each year, with a fining of egg white. A very attractive deep red colour. Aroma of red berries, vanilla. Full-bodied, long-lasting and balanced taste. Subtle and sophisticated oak tannin.
Saint-Emilion has been making wine since the beginning of the century with its Black Horse property, Mahler-Besse has strengthened its presence in this name in 1992 with the acquisition of Chateau La Couronne. Mahler-Besse has acquired the resources necessary for the producing great wines. New cellar equipped with unique conical tanks in this appellation. Technologically perfect, fruity wine, resulting from low yields and long maceration is seductive. Its elegant woody, finesse and delicacy make a wine of immediate pleasure.
