Earthy crushed raspberry and earthy aromas follow through on a soft, satiny entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-body with a delicate touch of spice.
The bouquet promises fresh fruits and ripeness as well: yellow apple, honey melon, and a hint of quince. Subtle exotic hints enhance the juicy feeling on the palate, while the classic aspects of Grüner Veltliner with pronounced herbal, spicy, and peppery fruit are evident more during the long aftertaste. QVEVRI Rkatsiteli is a light amber color wine with orange hunts, made In a traditional ancient way. Nose is intense, with aromas of white fruits and fine herbs flavours. Mouth is complex and mineral, finishing on herby aromas and fresh tannins.

Alain Graillot stumbled upon these vineyards and the Thalvin winery while bicycling in the Zenata region of Morocco between Casablanca and Rabat. It is a beautiful area with cool winds blowing off the Atlantic and no polluting industries. The Thalvin winery has been around since the 1920s and after some discussion, a deal was reached and Thalvin provided Graillot with parcels of Syrah vines to produce Syrocco.

This light straw color wine perfectly preserves aromas typical to these varieties displayed with apples, peaches, pears and ripe apricots. Aftertaste is lingering supported by light acid balancing the fruity sweetness. Recommended serving temperature 52-54 degrees F.
