The 2021 growing season was preceded by mild and dry winter weather from January through March. Winter rainfall was largely absent across Northern California and the Napa Valley entered the growing season with rain totals that ranged from 40 to 60% below normal and had temperatures that were two to three degrees warmer than average.

This wine has a bouquet of gardenias and white pepper. On the palate, it has ample weight (thanks to the Roussanne), but does not feel heavy or cloying and finishes cleanly with a hint of spice.
