Hand-harvested on September 19th, the Mourvèdre grapes were foot-tread and fermented 100% whole cluster with native yeast, basket pressed, then aged in five neutral oak barrels for ten months, then bottled July 12th 2018.

Lots of blackberry and currant fruits, cedarwood, cured meats, and underbrush notes emerge from the 2016 Tempranillo, which is a variety that’s getting more and more play in California.

Oakley Road Zinfandel is planted on the same sandy slopes as the Oakley Road Mataro. These vines, planted around 1900, are on their own roots. They are truly bush vines coming out of the sand with multiple arms like hydra.

The 2021 Bodyguard is a sleek yet powerful blend of Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah, displaying both opulence and structure. The 2021 vintage presents fragrant fruit aromas of blackberry, raspberry, currant and crème de cassis. Notes of cocoa, coffee, dark chocolate, licorice, and sweet cherry pipe tobacco are rounded out with whispers of truffle, toffee, mocha, and menthol.

Lovely, creamy, and vibrant with honey crisp apple and pear fruit filling the palate. White nectarine and lemon zest lead to a round and generous mouth feel with a crisp line of minerality.

Lorraine is 100% Syrah from a combination of marine soils with cobbles and sandstone vineyards laced with chalk. This wine always has the reddest fruits of our Syrahs, and the sweetest roundest tannins.

Our wine, made from premium vineyards in the Paso Robles AVA, captures the spirit of 1850’s California. It’s a rebellious red, fermented in stainless steel and oak, with notes of dark fruit, brown spice, and a dusting of toasted tobacco that offers you a distinct taste of Paso Robles.
