Deep garnet-purple, the 2016 Estate ‘Alluvial Selection’ Cabernet Sauvignon comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant crème de cassis, chocolate-covered cherries, charcoal and menthol scents with touches of garrigue, smoked meats and roasted nuts.

Immediate aromatic notes of ripe cassis, charred ribeye, sandalwood and freshly cut oak pilfer — breathe deeper for more. The first sip is a complex, layered conundrum of blackberry, black plum, fennel, licorice and dark chocolate.
Ideal conditions throughout the growing season brought the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to peak ripeness, resulting in vivid fruit flavors and soft, supple tannins. Fruit set for Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent, which allowed us to produce a wine that is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
