Ideal conditions throughout the growing season brought the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to peak ripeness, resulting in vivid fruit flavors and soft, supple tannins. Fruit set for Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent, which allowed us to produce a wine that is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

This Cabernet Sauvignon includes grapes from vineyards in Mount Veeder and Oakville. We do not crush our grapes, but rather, let them gently release their juice as they ferment. Only the free-run wine is used for Covenant Cabernet Sauvignon.

Fine-tuned tannins create a silky smooth framework for the elegant layers of cassis, blackberry, black cherry, thyme, sage, and subtle spice that form the framework of this unique wine. Beautifully balanced, it hits all the right notes on the palate, finishing long, with great elegance.
