The blend is mainly Merlot, with smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is as succulent and delicious as anything out there, soft and sensual, with intricate black cherry, cola, violet, cocoa and cedar flavors. You can call it Right Bank in that respect.

The Opus One 2021 effuses seductive, dark-fruit aromas of crushed cassis, blackberry, and black cherry with subtle hints of violet, vanilla, and baking spices. The inky purple/blue-tinged 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Ranch Vineyard is more focused and tight, with pure aromatics of blue fruits, chocolate, graphite, and iron. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it shows the structured, concentrated, age-worthy style of the vintage and is a seriously good wine in the making.

2022 Jayson Chardonnay offers a captivating interplay of richness and finesse, with a soulful complexity revealing itself with each sip. The nose is greeted with aromas of orange blossom and honeysuckle, lemon oil, and crushed Marcona almond.

There’s a luxurious texture I aim for with our Jayson Cabernet, selecting blocks of our mountain fruit that deliver concentration and intensity while possessing plush fruit and a polished tannin profile.

The 2022 AVETA Sauvignon Blanc offers fragrant aromas of grapefruit, lemongrass, citrus, lychee and orange blossom. The wine is bright and lively on the palate with a thirst-quenching acidity and pure flavors of mandarin orange and honeysuckle that lead to a lasting aftertaste.

This is a graceful Chardonnay with fragrant aromas of ripe mango, honeydew melon and peach along with hints of key lime pie, apple and floral notes. This medium-bodied wine has a bright and flavorful mouthfeel full of fruit and a touch of creamy vanilla spice, leading to a lasting citrus and melon finish.
