Always a great value, the 2019 Côtes Du Roussillon Villages Les Vignes De Bila Haut is close to equal parts Grenache and Syrah that was destemmed and brought up in concrete and stainless steel. Its vivid purple hue is followed by lots of red and blue fruits, floral and peppery nuances, a medium-bodied mouthfeel, silky tannins, and a great finish.
Purple color with violet tints. The first nose reveals notes of ripe Syrah: liquorice, pepper and peony give way to a beautiful procession of small red and black fruits. Intense flavors of red fruit, blackberry and spices combine on the palate until the round and fleshy finish.

Firm, but balanced, this is a wine with many of the virtues of the vintage. It has weight and richness, but also fresh, juicy, fruity acidity all packaged nicely in tannins.
