William Larue Weller Bourbon 2021

William Larue Weller is a part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, a highly sought after and much prized range of expressions released annually from the Buffalo Trace Distillery. William Larue Weller is bottled straight out of the barrel without the addition of water and without filtering.

The expression is named in honour of one of bourbon’s early pioneers, noted for developing wheated bourbon, and as such this expression has a significant contribution from wheat in the mash bill. On the nose, complex aromas of caramel corn, new leather, plums, toffee and pipe tobacco. A sweet and flavourful palate bringing notes of marshmallow, nougat, figs, dates and salted almonds.
