Vinyadecanes Tres Racimos Tinto Roble 2009

Tres Racimos is a clean wine with violet hues, which denote youth. On the nose, very elegant and fine wood perfume. A delicious and generous palate, with a long finish. There is a good relationship between the alcohol and the acidity.

100% Mencia grapes. Elaborated and bottled on the property by J. Martinez Yebra. Bodega Martinez Yebra, founded in 1975, is located in Villadecanes, a village situated in the heart of El Bierzo (Leon) and is a European Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). El Bierzo is considered one of the best areas for wine production in the Iberian Peninsula due to both its mild Mediterranean microclimate and the ideal characteristics of its soil. Their Blanco Godello and Tinto Mencia wines are sold exclusively under the Vinadecanes and Tres Racimos labels. Tres Racimos is made from Mencia grapes, through selection from the oldest family vineyards. Controlling production to only three bunches per stock, together with Vinadecanes' strong tradition of craftsmanship and use of the latest technology, created this red wine of great personality. It was matured for four months in French and American oak casks.
