Vinarija Milos Plavac 2009
It has a very-thick aromatic profile with dark fruit, minerals, and herbal notes with sage domination. Deep and slow to open. The flavor is rich and concentrated, balanced with soft, natural tannins. Elegant and long lasting.
Head-pruned plavac mali vines with a view of the crystal-blue Adriatic, on the steep, manually farmed, terraced land of the Peljesac Peninsula. Wild fermentation followed by 24 months in large, old Slavonian oak barrels, the wine is a pure reflection of plavac and its terroir. Rugged, beautiful, age worthy, and rich in naturalness.
