Veuve Clicquot Extra Brut Extra Old 5th Edition is a rare cuvée crafted exclusively from the House's reserve wine collection, one of the largest in Champagne. The blend brings together vintages from 1996, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, harmoniously combining the classic Champagne varieties: 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Meunier.

A double aging process—first maturing in vats on fine lees, then aging in bottle for at least three years—gives the wine remarkable depth, freshness and complexity. On the nose, it reveals fresh citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon, dried fruits like almond and hazelnut, and pastry hints of brioche and toasted bread. The palate is lively and saline, with citrus zest, gentle spices of white pepper and ginger, a dry dosage of 3 g/L, and an aging potential of more than 15 years.
