Vaudon XO Cognac

Vaudon XO Cognac is a fine blend of eaux-de-vie from both the Grande Champagne and Fins Bois regions; famous for their mineral rich soils.

The youngest eau-de-vie are 20 years old. The aroma of dried apricots, dried nectarines, raisins. Despite the age, a lot of sweetness, a lot of fruitiness, there is also a hint of sweet licorice, marzipan, but also sweet plums. In the mouth, a distinctly sweet plum, apricot, peach, sweet pear. For this a light note of tobacco, light cinnamon. A sweet, fruity finish that fills the mouth nicely with spicy and slightly astringent notes - nutmeg, muscat in general, maybe violets, licorice, leather.

Vaudon XO is best enjoyed as an after-dinner tipple in a digestive course or as an aperitif amongst guests. Its rich and fruity notes pair perfectly with a velvety dark chocolate dessert or alongside a fine cigar after eating.
