Two Hands Wines Bella's Garden 2011
Deep red color with black-purple hues. Aromas are vibrant and focused, with the characters continually evolving. Notes of red currants and cherries and subtle lavender, then chocolate and char, hints of creme anglaise, followed by spice, earth, and rosemary.
The wine is full of rich red fruits, cloves, and earthy notes, supported by fine tannins and elegant oak. The long palate is full of generous fruit and remains focused as it evenly tightens to a long, balanced finish with fresh acidity.
Two Hands Wines was founded in early 1999 by Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz. They are focused on showcasing the diversity of Australian Shiraz by highlighting regional characteristics and allowing the fruit to be the wines' primary feature. Two Hands refers to the very personable approach taken with each parcel of grapes. Their unique approach is reflected in everything from the names of the wines to innovative packaging and the wines themselves. The Garden Series is a super premium range of Shiraz from six of the finest Shiraz-producing regions in Australia.
