The flagship white from Jean Thevenet's legendary 10ha estate in the hamlet of Quintaine. 100% Chardonnay from old vines on limestone-rich clay-marl soils, farmed organic since 2008.
The 2021 is classic Bongran - rich yet precise. Aromas of ripe citrus, honeysuckle and white flowers lead to a textured palate of white peach, lime zest, honeycomb and smoky minerality, with great tension and a long, balanced finish. Hand-harvested, barrel-fermented in the traditional Burgundian style.
