The Cave Galilee Mevushal 2019
65% Cabernet Sauvignon 30% Merlot 5% Petit Verdot.
The ancient cave, hidden in the heart of the picturesque Carmel mountain, was quarried into the mountain about 250 years ago.
The natural conditions within the cave turned it into an ideal wine cellar, that was already used, as history reveals, in the 19th century to store brandy and wine.
In 2000, the cave was reinstated to its original use and serves, since then, as a home to The Cave Winery. The grapes used for making this fine wine come from exceptional vineyards in the upper Galilee and undergo meticulous production processes. The wine was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and will benefit from further aging in the bottle. Best served at 18°C. Decanting is recommended.
