Pretexto Branco is the signature white from Textura Wines in Portugal's Dão region, crafted by winemakers Luís Seabra and Mariana Salvador from native Encruzado and Bical grapes. It opens with an enticing bouquet of lemon, pear and green apple layered with delicate floral notes, almond and subtle spice.
On the palate it is juicy and textured, showing ripe pear and apple fruit balanced by a nutty, mineral core and vibrant acidity. Bright, elegant and distinctly Dão in its freshness, it offers a clean, persistent finish that makes it versatile at the table. Perfect with white fish, shellfish, poultry or creamy sauces, it can be enjoyed now and will continue to evolve well for another few years.
