Textura Da Estrela White 2023

Textura da Estrela is the signature white from Textura Wines, crafted on the granite slopes of Serra da Estrela in Portugal's Dão region. The blend is led by native varieties Encruzado, Bical and Cerceal-Branco from sustainably farmed 25 to 60-year-old vines in Vila Nova de Tázem.

Fermented with indigenous yeasts in large foudre and cement and aged sur lie without batonnage, it is made with low-intervention precision by winemakers Luís Seabra and Mariana Salvador. The wine shows white orchard fruit, citrus zest and mountain mineral texture, carried by a fine, elegant line of natural acidity. Fresh, textured and saline on the finish, it is an ideal pairing for fresh seafood, grilled fish and seasonal garden dishes.
