Building on our expertise in the world of spirits, we decided to bottle our own, starting with a beverage that is currently flying high: rum. And so the Bocatheva brand was born.
BOCATHÉVA 3YO is a blend of juices from the best distilleries in the Carib-bean, selected for their expertise. This Bocatheva 3YO will astonish with its beautiful aromatic intensity!
This rum was carefully crafted in Nago City, Okinawa by distilling local molasses in a column still, after a long fermentation which takes between ten and twenty days. This white rum is an aromatic explosion. It reveals exotic, smoky and spicy notes.
Bocatheva 12 yo is matured for 12 years in American white oak barrels previously used for bourbon. Distillation is performed in a pot still. This molasses rum, matured in Barbados, benefits from the tropical climate that sped up its ageing process. The sugar cane is locally grown.
Stroh is the world’s premier overproof rum and an iconic image of Austrian heritage. When Sebastian Stroh distilled his first liquor in 1832 he began a success story that continues to grow every year. Many have tried to imitate Stroh but none have come close to matching the rich flavor of the secret Stroh family recipe. When Austrians are asked to name the cultural images of their country, they said the Vienna Boy’s Choir, Lipizzaner horses, Apfel-Strudel, and Stroh Rum.
Inspired by the vibrancy of Jamaica, its land and the joyful nature of its people, 8 year old reserve is our most versatile expression of aged rum, revealing aromas of spicy fruit and oak, followed by hints of honey, vanilla and our signature orange peel note.
Mount Gay Andean Oak Cask is single batch of rums double distilled in a traditional copper pot still, aged for 14yrs in ex-Bourbon casks and then finished for eleven months in virgin Andean oak casks. This wood imparts spicy notes, different from Mt Gay's traditional barrels.
For the sixth release of the Master Blender Collection, Mount Gay Master Blender Trudiann Branker has put together a blend with some of the oldest rum stocks in the Mount Gay bonds. A classic Bajan blend of pot and column distillates, both had been aged in ex-American whiskey casks for 20 years in Barbados, where both the heat and humidity accentuate the interaction with the casks. This tropical aging process created deeply aromatic flavours of burnt oak and toasted vanilla.
The 23 | 01 | Bn_Qa rum, crafted by Mount Gay distillery, offers an adventure of unique aromas and flavors. The nose teases with floral, caramel, mango hints, while the taste unravels a unique blend of tropical fruit, nail polish, spicy anise, and juniper.
Aging mellows a spirit. It also brings out new flavors and aromas. Don Q Gran Anejo contains rums aged between 3 and 12 years, creating a balance between sweet and dry that you won't get in other spirits. Drink it on the rocks, drink it neat. If you must, add a splash of ginger (we won't tell anyone). Drink it slow, and share a moment with your friends.
