Pierre Vallet XO cognac is an extra old blend of eaux-de-vie, brought for the first time from Maison Pierre Vallet. Pierre Vallet is a family business owned by the same family responsible for Château de Montifaud. Run by Laurent and Elodie Vallet, who represent the sixth generation of the Vallet family, the brand is named after their great-grandfather, Pierre Vallet.
An exceptional blend of up to 30 rare and very old eaux-de-vie made from 100% Grande Champagne Cognac, which is from one of the premier preoduction areas in the Cognac region. Marnier XO Cognac is a distinctive harmonious blend with notes of spice and dried fruit, which results in a robust, lingering finish.
The Cognac region consists of six vineyard growth areas, called 'Crus'. The grapes used for Cognac must always come from this French region. The area covers the Char- ente-Maritime, a large part of the Charente and some smaller parts of deux-Sevres and the famous Dordogne.
