Serge Dagueneau Pouilly Fume Les Pentes 2013
The 2013 Pouilly-Fume Les Pentes is a crisp, Kiwi-like Sauvignon from 45-year-old vines in Kimmeridgian marl soils. Very clear and aromatic, its flinty tropical aromas of kiwi, passion fruit, mangoes, guava, lychee, citrus and grapefruit are followed by a very attractive attack in the mouth.
100% Sauvignon Blanc. The Serge Dagueneau estate is situated on the slopes of Pouilly-sur-Loire and St-Andelain where Pouilly-sur-Loire and Pouilly-Fume wines are produced on 42 acres. Not far away, at St-Lay they also have about five acres where Cotes de la Charite red, white, and rose wines are made.
