Santa Luz Alba Sauvignon Blanc 2012
Has pure fruit and a crisp palate with notes of herb and lemon curd culminating in a lively finish. It is great on its own or paired with oyster, salads, or smoked salmon.
Produced and bottled by Vina Luis Felipe Edwards (VLFE)—The estate was established in 1936 by Luis Felipe Edwards Sr. who purchased the Fundo San Jose de Puquillay estate. This Colchagua-Valley-based operation sits nestled in a secluded horseshoe-shaped valley, separated from the majestic snow-capped Andes by the smaller San Fernando ridge. Since then, the Edwards family has been passionately devoted to improving the winery and the vineyards, producing top-quality wines from carefully tended vines of up to 70 years old, for which they have accrued an extensive medal tally.
