Redemption 18yr Ancients
Indiana- Nose-bitter chocolate, rich baking spices, baked apple, peaches, rich caramel, slight herbal notes of tarragon and sage, Palate-bright baked apple pie, almonds, baking spices, maple, caramel, orange zest, pears, like an old fashioned in a glass.
The Redemption Ancients 18 Year-Old Rye Whiskey is currently distilled at the MGP Distillery in Indiana, and its rye whiskeys typically showcase MGP’s famous 95% rye/5% malt mash bill. This rye whiskey was laid down in barrels in 1998 at the old Seagram’s distillery in Lawrenceburg Indiana, where all Redemption Whiskey has ever been produced. This 18 Year-Old exhibits the ageability of rye. Expect subtle floral notes, grippy oak that’s not overwhelming, mint, grilled citrus, and baking spices. Bottled at 109.9 proof with only 600 bottles available.
