This wine offers aromas of cherry preserves, rose petal and moist earth. The palate has a nice depth of fruit with delicate tannins that make it a nice medium-bodied food-friendly wine. The grapes are sourced from the Forchini Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. These are vines 10 to 30 years old farmed organically.
Poco a Poco wines are made from organic and biodynamic grapes by Porter-Bass Winery. The Porter Bass Estate sits just up in the hills that overlook the small town of Guerneville, CA (below the fog line, 9 miles from the Pacific Ocean). The vines struggle to ripen each year, providing the perfect environment to make balanced expressions of Coastal Russian River Valley wines.
