Produced by Chateau Teyssier (CT) Domaines. The La Plagnolle vineyard has had the ultimate makeover over a duration of 10 years. Vines spaced 9.8 feet apart—in keeping with those that make up Boardeaux's Entre-deux-Mers—have been refashioned to 4.9 feet that is standard in Saint-Emilion. Increased concentration therefore gives lavish richness. With the vineyard being literally a pace away from the vineyards of Saint-Emilion and with vinification conducted in a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, the wine punches well above its appellation.
