Neyers Vineyards AME Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

The fruit for our 'AME' Cabernet Sauvignon comes from their Conn Valley ranch. This parcel is the northernmost and highest elevation block of vines on the property, and has been certified organic since 2009. It faces due south on a slope that in parts is 45 degrees.

About 25% of their production is Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grown on our 50-acre, Conn Valley ranch. They purchase additional grapes from a select group of growers, among them the Sangiacomo family of the Carneros District, Will Nord of Napa, the Rossi Ranch of Sonoma County, Markus Bokisch and the Evangelho family. In 1999, we purchased and renovated a winery on a thirty-acre parcel in the Sage Canyon area of Napa Valley. Over the next 14 months we built the modern, highly functional winery designed for our traditional winemaking practices.
