Kerem Montefiore was founded on the 150th anniversary of Mishkenot Sha'ananim, This was the first neighborhood built outside the Old City Walls of Jerusalem and became the cornerstone of modern Jerusalem. When the land was purchased by Sir Moses Montefiore, it was originally named "Kerem Moshe", Moses' Vineyard. The winery celebrates the person, the place and the vision.

Montefiore Red is an unoaked blend of Petit Sirah, Shiraz and Malbek, grown on the vineyard slopes that rise towards Jerusalem.
