The label is an ode to the famous labels of Chablis, hinting that this Chardonnay does not identify as Californian. Sourced from the Hawkeye Ranch in Mendocino, the far northern reaches combined with no new oak results in a crisp and clean wine, filled with gravelly minerality and green apples.
A dusting of herbs and zesty tangerines hang on to well-balanced acidity. Far from butter, yet not rustic in its acidity.
