Michter's US*1 Limited Release Toasted Barrel Finish Rye Whiskey

While their Michter’s team distills according to tried and true Kentucky practices, it continually experiments as it pursues Michter’s goal of making the greatest American whiskeys. Enhanced spice notes with delicate chocolate overtones balanced by some vanilla and honey, hints of roasted nuts and dates, with a lingering finish of burnt brown sugar reminiscent of creme brulee complemented by some smokey campfire highlights.

The US1 expressions, so named to honor Michter’s heritage harkening back to America’s first whiskey company, consist of some of the finest single barrel and truly small batch whiskeys available. Distilled to Master Distiller Pam Heilmann’s exacting specifications, no US1 whiskey is ever released until Pam and the Michter’s tasting panel deems it ready.
