This white Cotes du Rhone is a blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Viognier; vibrant, flavorful and harmonious, it has plenty of ripe peach, tangerine, and citrus blossom to go with a medium-bodied, rounded, and supple style on the palate.
Domaine de la Solitude is one of the oldest family-owned and operated estates in the world, established around 1450 by the Barberini family who arrived in the Rhone from Italy with the popes and later became the Lancon family; the Lancons have now been making wine at Domaine de la Solitude for more than 500 years.
